Budget
To develop a budget to meet the needs of the year as planned by the PTA Cultural Arts/Reflections
To promote the National PTA "Reflections" program in the school and to coordinate a program to
introduce students to the many phases of the arts - music, painting, literature, and photography. Hospitality
Promote friendship between PTA members and the guest at meetings. Provide refreshments when
needed. Legislation/Education
Provide information on current legislation issues and present it at PTA meetings. Membership
Build and encourage membership in the PTA unit. Work to increase enrollment of parents,
teachers, and, at the high schools, student memberships. Programs
Prepare and present information or educational programs of interest to parents to present
programs relative to current issues. Publications/Public Relations
Inform membership of PTA meeting dates. Publicize PTA events through newspapers, flyers, and
newsletters. Promote and distribute State and National PTA publications. Room Representatives
Promote friendly relations between school staff and parents. Bring parents into closer contact
